Accounting Associate
Responsibilities
  • Accurately maintain the general ledger for multiple entities
  • Perform check writing duties in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process urgent checks as they are requested
  • Pay invoices on a weekly basis
  • Reconcile and pay monthly credit card statements
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Create monthly invoices for clients on QuickBooks
  • Receive payments & manage A/R for clients
  • Obtain and record accurate vendor W-9s
  • Assist with 1099s annually
Qualifications
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
  • fractions, and decimals.
  • Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • and meet strict deadlines.

Screening Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required,
  • Minimum of two years experience in accounts payable and/or receivable, and bank reconciliation, invoice, and payroll is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks (at least 1 year of direct experience
